Serving Surrey
North Surrey sits at the southern end of our 30-mile working radius, reached down the M25 from Amersham. We work regularly across Staines-upon-Thames, Egham, Englefield Green, Virginia Water, Chertsey, Shepperton, Sunbury, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge and Esher — an area with some of the biggest and best-kept private tree stock in the Home Counties, and plenty of Thames-side plots where trees and water go hand in hand.
Response times to Surrey
Surrey enquiries are typically surveyed within a week; because it's a longer run than our Buckinghamshire patch we tend to group Surrey visits together, so being flexible on the day helps. Genuine emergencies — a tree down across a drive, a split limb over a roof, storm damage on a riverside plot — are still prioritised, and a photo with your call gets the quickest straight answer.
Familiarity with Surrey property types
North Surrey runs from Edwardian and interwar housing in Staines, Sunbury and Walton, through large gated and private-estate plots around Weybridge, Wentworth and Virginia Water with mature specimen trees, to Thames-side houses at Shepperton and Chertsey where willows, poplars and alders sit right on the bank. Big plots often allow machine access and larger drop zones; riverside and estate work more often needs rigging, ground protection and careful timing around soft, wet ground.
Common service needs in Surrey
In Surrey we're most often asked for crown reduction and thinning on mature oak, beech, cedar and Scots pine; reduction and pollarding of Thames-side willows and poplars that shed limbs; removal of storm-damaged or declining conifers on estate plots; deadwooding and crown lifting of large specimens over lawns and driveways; long hedge lines and screening reduced to a workable height; and stump grinding on plots being re-landscaped.
